Loire vineyard is among the most extensive in France. All along the river - from Massif Central to the Atlantic coast - it covers four production areas: Centre, Touraine, Anjou and Saumurois, Loire-Atlantique. So many regions with varied geological soils which, associated to climatic fluctuations and many grape varieties (Sauvignon, Chenin, Cabernet Franc), bring their typicity to the different ranges of wines.
Dry, semi-dry, sweet, liquorous; dry or semi-sweet rosés; red wines (sometimes tannic); and also several sparkling wines. Around sixty appellations, some of which are well known beyond our borders: Sancerre, Muscadet, Menetou-Salon, Pouilly-Fumé, Chinon, Bourgueil, Touraine, Cabernet d'Anjoux, Vouvray, Coteaux-du-Layon , Saumur-Champigny, ...
First region to produce white wines in AOC appellation, the Loire valley has been able to renew itself, particularly under the impetus of the younger generations, to improve the quality of wines on all of its grape varieties and appellations.
